Beginner Butterfly Stained Glass Plant Stake

$38.00

Tuesday, August 11th • Ted’s Stadium Kitchen & Pub • 1145 Park Ave, Cranston

Space is Limited!!!

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll focus on the hands-on process of bringing a butterfly plant stake to life using stained glass techniques—without the need to design a pattern or choose glass. Everything is prepared for you so you can jump straight into the creative process.

I will have several color combinations to choose from! PLUS embellish with a dangle of crystal beads to enhance the stake. We’ll begin with a quick overview of safety and the essential tools used in stained glass. Then, you’ll start working with pre-cut glass pieces, learning how to prepare them for assembly.

Next, you’ll be guided through the copper foil method. You’ll carefully wrap each piece of glass, learning how to create smooth, even edges that will help your project come together cleanly. From there, we’ll move into soldering—where you’ll join your pieces and watch your butterfly take shape. You’ll learn how to control the solder for neat lines and a strong structure.

Once your butterfly is assembled, we’ll hang it from a metal hook so it can be displayed in a plant or garden setting. You’ll also learn simple finishing techniques, including cleaning, polishing, and checking your piece for durability.

By the end of the class, you’ll have:
A completed stained glass butterfly plant stake
Hands-on experience with foiling and soldering
Confidence in assembling stained glass projects

**Because I have to preorder the kits and there are limited seats for this class, there are no refunds once you register. Thank you for your understanding.
