Transform ordinary pumpkins and gourds into rich, moody works of art. In this workshop, you'll hand-paint florals and damask-inspired patterns across your pumpkin's natural ridges, working in deep jewel tones, rust, plum, and gold, for a finished piece that feels closer to antique textile than seasonal decor.
We'll cover building up layered brushwork to create depth and dimension, along with the botanical and damask motifs that give this style its opulent, old-world feel. No prior painting experience needed, just a willingness to work slowly and let the pattern build.
You'll leave with a finished pumpkin or gourd ready to display, and the technique to keep painting in this rich, moody style well beyond the workshop.
